About our Outdoor Family Photography
Our outdoor photography sessions are the perfect way to capture your whole family relaxed and having fun. You can bring along the whole extended family and even the family dog!
We want to capture real smiles and lots of fun and give you images and memories that you can treasure forever.
We allow 1-1.5 hours for an outdoor session and these can take place at your home or out on location somewhere in beautiful Somerset. We have families that choose their favourite locations or we can suggest some that we visit.
The photography session can include pets and can be for just your own family or even your whole extended family too – we have photographed some very large multiple generation families while out on location and have had many families book us while they are staying in Somerset on holiday.
We will make sure you have fun while we capture laid back and relaxed photographs of the whole family.
When should I book my session?
We recommend booking your session as soon as possible to get your perfect date. It can be hard to find a date for larger groups but it is so worth the effort.
We suggest getting a few options from people and we will find something that works for everyone. With outdoor sessions we are more at risk with the weather interfering so we do have an emergency back up date usually just in case – but thankfully rarely need to use these!
What happens at the session?
We’ll meet at the chosen location and make a plan for your photographs. It usually involves going for a little walk so we can capture some natural and relaxed images and then we’ll suggest different points to get you together or suggest groups etc so you get a nice mix of relaxed images and more traditional posed groups.
It can be handy to have thought about the groups you would like, especially when in a larger group. We mainly try and get the large family group images first and then work down through the groups from there.

What happens after the session?
After your session you will be given details of how you can view your images on a secure online gallery.
Our outdoor session is one complete package. For £299 you get the full session and a fully downloadable gallery of all of your images!
